The Guainumbi Beneficent Association is located in an area of extreme social vulnerability in the Jardim Ângela region, serving since 2001 people with intellectual and multiple disabilities, from 15 years of age onwards.

 

Through partnerships with Social Assistance and Education, full members, individuals and legal entities, national and/or foreign donations, the organization maintains a work of:

  • Provide Social Assistance, guaranteeing the rights of people with mild/moderate and multiple intellectual disabilities;  

  • Serving, supporting and protecting children and adolescents in situations of vulnerability and social risk, through educational and social assistance actions.  

  • Serving, supporting and protecting children, adolescents and adults with mild/moderate and multiple intellectual disabilities in situations of vulnerability and social risk,

 

  • through education and social assistance actions;

 

  • Create space for reception, support, assistance and guidance aimed at the promotion and development of people with mild/moderate and multiple intellectual disabilities;

 

  • Promote their integration into the labor market;  

 

  • Promote and assist the health of people with disabilities;

 

  • Promote inclusion and protection actions for people with disabilities, with assistance to the family;  

 

  • Provide development opportunities based on articulated work with the family and community, through the carrying out of works and actions, with its own resources or obtained through donations, promotions, agreements or loans;  

 

  • Promote environmental, cultural and sports actions for people with disabilities, family and community;  

 

  • Establish partnerships with related entities;
